Having moved from the United Kingdom we were excited to be back in Zimbabwe, but the transport system proved to have challenges. We had times when we needed to move from one place to the other and needed a taxi service but the type of cars and service that was available was something we could not trust. From our perspective, time is money as the old adage goes, but we lost many productive hours as we literally ‘lived’ in fuel queues. To get a taxi was nightmare with the rising cases of theft, poorly serviced cars, and also the exorbitant fares charged by taxi operators. It was on this personal experience that Gus Hanson was started. With this in mind we decided to start an executive car service that caters for airport transfers, private taxi and special events.
